Singles Gala Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Singles Gala, you agree to the following terms, conditions, and code of conduct. These policies are in place to protect the integrity of the event, maintain a safe and respectful environment, and uphold the values of The Love & Legacy Initiative.

1. Event Values & Conduct

The Singles Gala is a faith-based, alcohol-free, and non-vulgar event. Guests are expected to engage in a respectful, wholesome, and dignified manner consistent with the purpose of the event: fostering meaningful, God-honoring connections.

  • Vulgar, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Guests exhibiting behavior deemed offensive, aggressive, or inconsistent with the spirit of the event will be denied entry or asked to leave without refund.

2. Dress Code Requirements

This is a formal, upscale experience. All guests must adhere to the following attire guidelines:

  • Ballroom, cocktail, or business casual attire is required.

  • Not Permitted:

    • Jeans or denim of any kind

    • See-through clothing

    • Excessive cleavage

    • Clothing that does not fully cover bottoms (e.g., short skirts, revealing slits)

Entry will be denied without refund if dress code requirements are not met.

3. Ticketing Policy

  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

  • Tickets are transferrable to another guest with written notice to the event organizer at least 48 hours in advance. Name changes must be confirmed in writing.

  • Tickets may not be resold above face value.

4. Age Requirement

All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. A valid government-issued photo ID may be required at check-in. No exceptions will be made.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By attending the Singles Gala, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to your participation, including but not limited to illness, injury, emotional discomfort, or property loss. The Love & Legacy Initiative and all associated partners, vendors, and volunteers are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries.

6. Health & Safety Acknowledgment

You confirm that you are in good health and not experiencing symptoms of illness at the time of the event. You will comply with any local or venue-specific health protocols required for entry. The event will follow public health guidelines in place at the time.

7. Event Changes & Force Majeure

The organizer reserves the right to adjust the event’s venue, time, speakers, or programming due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, emergencies, or public health mandates.

  • If the event date is changed, ticket holders will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer to the new date.

  • In the rare event of cancellation, a refund or credit will be issued at the organizer’s discretion.

8. No Solicitation Policy

Unapproved promotion or solicitation of products, services, or personal businesses during the event is strictly prohibited unless authorized in writing as an official vendor or sponsor.

9. Media Release

By attending, you grant The Love & Legacy Initiative the right to record, photograph, and use your image, likeness, or voice in promotional and archival content.
To opt out, you must notify staff in writing before the event date.

10. Indemnification Clause

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Love & Legacy Initiative, its affiliates, vendors, venue partners, and team members from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses related to your participation, conduct, or violations of these terms.

11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Any disputes or claims arising from your registration or attendance will be governed by the laws of the State of [Maryland or New Jersey].
You agree to resolve disputes through good-faith mediation before pursuing legal action. If unresolved, disputes will be settled in the courts of the governing state.

By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions. These policies are binding upon registration and apply to all attendees, including transferred ticket holders.
